Introducing the boys to frogs

Growing Frog Spawn

The boys took on the task of growing frogs from spawn. After about three weeks in their eggs the spawn hatched and continued to grow into the frogs you can see pictured here.

The boys released the frogs into the wild as soon as they were big enough.

It was nice for the kids to see them grow from almost nothing to living creatures.

The last of our froglets and frogs were released this week as they were beginning to jump around the Junior and Senior Infants classroom.

We found one hanging out in the plastic jungle. Some of the 1st and 2nd Class boys came with is. They were very responsible on the road and showed great example to the younger boys.
